WebbTo me, Purple Power seems to be a better degreaser than Simple Green. Simple green is better for organic stuff like mold, mildew, and blood. I did not know that either one would remove oxidation. The only thing I've ever used for that is cleaner wax or compound depending on the severity of the oxidation. CLR is the only household product I would even consider. No. CLR will corrode the softer metals.
