Witryna27 sty 2024 · IMO, temp sensitivity has been way over emphasized...especially for a 308. ALL powders are temp sensitive once the temp gets above 80*F. As long as you aren't running redline loads, you will be fine for most work to 800 or beyond. Accurate 2520 is a fine powder, it meters well in my Dillon. He also made it clear that no powder is completely insensitive to temperature. Your muzzle velocity WILL vary based on ambient temperature, regardless of what powder you use.

You didn't say what your chronograph readins were at 70°. That should tell you alot. I didn't Chrony at 70, because I wasn't expecting a big difference. I will try it today.
