Nothing against the XFX Core 750; it's a fine piece of kit, and it wouldn't be a problem, but a 750 isn't really necessary for an HD6670/6770. Depending on what's on sale, I usually match those up with a Seasonic S12II or M12II 620 bronze.

It could even be a piece of cable touching some hot area (like CPU heatsink). It could even be dust burning if your case has a lot of it.
