Doc is saying 3 to 6 weeks, no weight, 3 to 6m light activity, and possibly no jiu-jitsu for 1yr. My left is in better shape, so they will work on the right first. I had laser treatment at the beginning which brought swelling down and allowed me to walk 'normally'. My knee 'locks' but I found a method to unlock it. I still train bjj but for example cant sit low in a closed guard and few other positions.

Web4 weeks after a repair seems really quick especially for returning to BJJ. I would confirm that with your surgeon. Most rehab protocols have you taking it pretty easy for at least 6 weeks after a meniscus repair and would probably have you wait 3 mo before doing BJJ. After a meniscectomy return to sport is quick.
